Despite all the popularity of the Internet, fax machines and fax transmissions have not disappeared. They are still essential in government, legal, banking, insurance, maritime and other industries. And, because users’s needs and infrastructures’s all differ, we offer three types of Internet Fax services.
Internet Faxing: Store-and-Forward Fax (T.37)
Atlantic Webs provides clients with fax services based upon the ITU T.37 standard which deals with sending fax messages via email It is sometimes referred to as ‘IFax”. This technology is suitable for users who do not have a fax machine and can . allow a delay in the receipt of faxes. Clients with legacy equipment typically implement one or more fax gateways, which converts emails to regular faxes, or regular faxes to emails. Subscriptions are priced per fax number.
Internet Faxing: Fax over IP Protocol (T.38)
Atlantic Webs provides clients with fax services based upon the ITU T.38 standard which was developed to allow Group 3 (i.e., G3) facsimile machines to communicate over the Internet instead of the PSTN telephone network. Since its invention in 1998, manufacturers have developed smaller and smaller appliances (called ATA’s) which connect a fax machine’s Telco Port to VOIP Internet Services, permitting the transmission and receipt of faxes in real-time. Subscriptions are priced per fax number.
Internet Faxing: HTTPS Fax
Atlantic Webs provides clients with Secure Fax Services based upon the FaxBack/AudioCodes HTTPS. The service is based upon customized SIP ATA’s which have been enabled to communicate in real-time using the Secure HTTPS protocol (yes, the same security you get when doing banking). The devices have been optimized to work over the Internet including using satellite, cellular data and Wi-Fi connections. Subscriptions are priced per fax number.

Atlantic Webs provides to its clients a full suite of services including Fax Consulting, Bandwidth Analysis, provisioning T.38 SIP Trunk and Network Design. Additionally, our affiliate, Grason Systems offers both Windows and Linux based Fax Server appliances. .
